House. Early C17. Coursed limestone rubble and rendered cladding to timber
frame; gabled C20 pantile roof; C17 brick ridge stack. 2-unit plan. One storey
and attic; one-window range. Timber lintels over C20 door and 2-light casements
with shutters; similar casements in 2 flat-roofed dormers. C17 one-storey bay to
left, of similar materials with timber-framed left side wall. Interior: 2-bay
roof to right, of heavy smoke-blackened principal rafters with through purlins.
Chamfered beams, and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer and bread oven;
winder stairs.
