Mill house, dated 1728 with initials R I (Richard and ? Ridley) on lintel,
restored and extended 1980. Rubble with cut dressings; stone slate roof. 2
storeys, 3 irregular bays. Left bay is C20 addition in same style and materials.
Central renewed door in old part has chamfered block surround and dated lintel
which also bears secondary inscriptions Ts RIDLEY 1780 and RD RIDEEY 1810;
renewed 4-pane sash windows, those in old part with tooled lintels. Corniced
left end stack. To right, adjacent Old Mill (q.v.).
C20 extension to rear not of interest.
