Stable block. Late C17, originally a house, remodelled mid C18. Squared rubble
front with tooled-and-margined dressings; other elevations rubble. C20 grey
tile roof. South elevation 2 storeys, 7 irregular bays. Three 2-panel doors,
2 elliptical arches to right, varied fenestration mostly in old openings with
alternating-block surrounds. 5-step mounting block to far right. Hipped roof.
Right return: End of main block shows two 4-pane sashes to 1st floor. Set back
to right a 2-bay rear Wing with similar windows and external stone stair to door
in extruded projection. To rear of wing, blocked elliptical arch with doorway
inserted, and 4-pane sash windows.
Interior: cross wall shows angle quoins and fireplaces of C17 house to ground
and 1st floor.
Range of cottages attached to rear wing remodelled c.1980, not of interest.
