- Confectioners shop

GV II

Shop and kitchen with stores above. Built early C19 as a house; possible
earlier core. Painted red brick. Slated roof with one course in four having
fishscale slates; formerly thatched. An axial chimney of mid C19 gault brick
with red brick quoins. Two cell plan. Two storeys, 3 windows. C19 small-pane
sashes (one replaced by a C20 cross-casement). Two C19 4-panelled entrance
doors. A rear slated lean-to outshut adjacent to Old Street. Single storey
C20 extensions at either end of building are not of special interest.
