House. 1890s. Red brick with stone dressings and sham timber framing. Clay plain tile roof with gabled ends and pierced ridge tiles. Eclectic late Victorian style. PLAN: Double depth with entrance and stairhall on right and drawing room on left with dining room and service wing behind. RXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic. Asymmetrical 2-bay front. Ground floor is ashlar with canted bay on left and Gothic window and elliptical arch doorway on right under tiled canopy on stone brackets. On first floor there is a wooden canted bay on left flanked by gauged brick paired pilasters with large moulded brick corbel brackets supporting timber-frame gable with moulded bargeboards and 4-light window. To the right a Gothic window and bracketed eaves, and over the corner a small belvedere with Gothic windows and a steep pyramidal roof with a finial. Stained glass and top lights with glazing bars. INTERIOR not inspected.
