House. C16. Timber framed with colourwashed render and brick nogged
infill with a plain tile roof, probably originally thatched. Two storeys.
The front facing School Lane: to the ground floor are three 2-light windows
and two single-light windows, all of C20 date. To the first floor are a 2-
light window at left of centre and a window of 4 lights with diamond-
section mullions at right with a further single-light window immediately to
right of it. To the ridge at left of centre is an axial stack of 2 flues.
Right hand gable end: 3-light ground floor window and two single-light
first floor windows, all of C20. The left hand gable end has a 3-light
ground floor casement with colourwashed rendered walling. Jettied first
floor supported on brackets with a decorative bressumer. Close studded
walling with jowled wall posts and a central 3-light window with brick
nogging. Jettied gable, also with a decorative bressumer, again close
studded with brick nogging. Rear: two 2-light ground floor casements and a
single-light window with a stable door at left and to the first floor are
four 2-light casements. Pantile roof with slates to the lower body, above
the eaves.
