Having examined the relevant papers, available information and guidance, and having considered the special architectural and historic interest of the case, English Heritage recommends that the list entry be amended.
House. C16 or C17.
MATERIALS: Timber framed with colourwashed render and a plain tiled roof, with a row of slate at the eaves.
DESCRIPTION: Two storeys. Entrance front has two canted oriel windows to the ground floor at left and between these a two-light casement with louvred shutters. To the right are a two-light and a three-light casement with a single-light window between them. The first floor has four two-light windows and a single-light window. There is a ridge chimney stack of two flues at left and a gable stack with offsets to the right-hand gable end.
