Farmhouse. Mid to late C17. Random rubble stone, double Roman
tiled roof with coped verges and gable end concrete stacks. Two-
storey with attic, 5-window. Central double 6-panelled doors in
moulded stone architrave within good porch with channelled
rustication, fluted pilasters carried up to cornice and shaped and
battlemented parapet, C18 two-light beaded mullioned casement to
left and two 2-light recessed cyma-mullioned casements and one
inserted casement to right. First floor has five 2-light recessed
cyma-mullioned casements with hoodmoulds, blocked bull's eye to
right. Two gabled C19 attic dormers with 2-light casements.
Single-storey C17 wing to right has 3-light ground floor ovolo-
mullioned casement with hoodmould and 3-light C19 mullioned
casement to attic. Left return has C19 first floor casement and
some blocked openings. Rear has 2-light ovolo-mullioned casements,
lean-to extension to right and C20 extension to left.
Interior has chamfered beams with runout stops, large open
fireplace with depressed chamfered Tudor-arched stone lintel, good
stairs with turned balusters to closed string, moulded handrail and
square newels.
