Inn. Late C17 and early C19. Dressed limestone, with some ashlar,
double Roman tiled roof with coped verges and stone and brick
stacks. Two-storey with attic, 5-window. C17 build to centre has
central half-glazed door with flat stone hood on brackets, pair of
16-pane sashes to left and C19 lean-to extension to right with 24-
pane sash. First floor has central 2-light recessed cyma-mullioned
casement with flanking 3-light mullioned casements, continuous
string course, two full attic gables with 2-light mullioned
casements and lintel string courses. Range to left has 2 planked
doors, 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement and pair of
12-pane first floor sashes, mansard Welsh slate roof with flat-
headed dormer, left return with lean-to addition. Early C19 range
to right has C20 door and pair of sashes to left, C20 casement to
right, first floor with 2-light flush mullioned casement and pair
of sashes, three C20 gabled attic dormers. Rear has ground level
first floor height, two gables to C17 range, one with large stack,
one with 2-light mullioned casement, left hand range has C20
mansard roof with casements.
Interior has stone Tudor-arched fireplace on rear wall, chamfered
beams and exposed joists.
