Bridge No 162 on the Brecon to Abergavenny Canal authorised 1793, this section built under Thomas Dadford Jr engineer in 1800. The bridge carries the towpath across the canal.
Canal bridge, squared rubble stone with broad elliptical arch with stone voussoirs. Humped parapet formerly with stone copings, mostly replaced in black brick.
Included for its special historic interest as a well-preserved Georgian canal bridge.
