Bridge No 161 on the Brecon to Abergavenny Canal authorised 1793, this section built under Thomas Dadford Jr engineer in 1800. This bridge connects fields on either side of the canal.
Canal bridge, squared rubble stone with broad elliptical arch with stone voussoirs. Humped parapet with stone copings and square end piers. The arch is very broad and shallow and appears to have sunk, strengthened with iron reinforcing.
Included for its special historic interest as a well-preserved Georgian canal bridge.
