An early to mid C19 heavy horse stable which was extended on the west end later in the C19 and has not been altered since apart from the blocking of openings. It is shown before extension on the Tithe Map of 1839.
The building is constructed of roughly coursed local lias limestone rubble with dressed quoins, Welsh slate roof. Rectangular single storey range with a central door with a segmental head and windows on either side, the one on the right in a blocked doorway.
Single cell interior with queen strut roof trusses with iron reinforcement on the struts.
Included for its special interest as a part of a very complete C19 Vale farmstead group.
