History

Late C19 cast-iron water-pump.

Exterior

Cast iron water pump with fluted cylindrical upper section under fluted rounded cap with pointed finial. Long cast-iron handle attached to upper part with fluted oval handle. Shaft below in 3 sections divided by rings, upper section has decorated spout with small, scrolled crest and long, thin foliate decoration to joint. Small plaque by joint with lion rampant and 'Made in England'.
