Village house, earlier C19, marked on the 1842 Tithe map.
Small house of 2 parallel ranges, one and a half storeys, double-fronted with painted rendered facade, pitched slate roof, red brick left end stack and plain timber bargeboard. Ground floor has 6-panelled door set in painted timber doorcase with console brackets under open pediment between 4-pane sashes with cambered heads and slate sills. Upper storey flanking bays have similar sashes breaking eaves under timber gablets with bargeboards. Left end is painted rubble stone, with similar but lower end gable of rear range, also with brick end stack. Right end abuts Cross House Stores.
Not inspected.
Included as a smaller house retaining traditional character of group value with adjoining shop and churchyard lychgate.
