History

C18 small lofted cottage, dated 1726.

Exterior

Whitewashed roughcast with corrugated iron roof, over thatch. Large roughcast right end stack with date plaque, small brick left end stack. Single storey and loft. E front has 4-pane horned sash each side of ledged door with overlight. Small square fire-window to right. Stucco window surrounds, slate sills. C20 addition to right.

Reasons for Listing

One of the few dated buildings of the early C18 in the region. A well-preserved lofted cottage with regional character.
