Mid C19 stables to Serjeants Inn, the inn said to date from 1650 (O.S. map), but more probably mid C18. The stables not marked on 1838 Tithe Map.
Whitewashed rubble stone with close-eaved slate roof. Single-storey and loft, with NW angle chamfered. N front has five openings with painted Cilgerran stone voussoirs: a window and a door to left, window, door and window to right. Boarded doors, windows covered over (1997) but said to be 9-pane. Slate sills. E end stone outside steps, the platform remade in concrete, to loft door.
A traditional outbuilding of regional character. Group value with The Serjeants Inn and coach house.
