The kiln bank was probably first established c1810, and is a comparatively early type, with narrow openings to drawing hole vault, but brick arched vault.
Rough stone retaining walls to bank, with the brick arched openings of the drawing hole vaults for four kilns; charging holes also survive at the top of the bank.
A relatively complete survival of an early type of kiln bank, and of special interest for its association with the Montgomeryshire Canal.
