C18 and C19.
Two storeys, rubble stone, slate roof. Long-range sited downslope with service rooms at the upper end. Various building phases are evident in the stonework. The lower end range has neater coursed rubble blocks and a cambered voussoir lintel over the ground-floor window. Projecting rubble stack to lower gable end, ridge stack to right of centre. Enclosed rubble porch, modern glazed door. Twelve-pane sash windows to the principal rooms, casements at the service end. Interior has scroll stopped beams and massive timber lintel to central open fireplace (now blocked).
Included as a good unaltered example of a later vernacular farmhouse.
