History

Not built up on 1848 Meyrick estate map; street was named after Edward Laws who died 1854.

Exterior

Circa 1850-60 terraced house, painted roughcast with stucco dressings, imitation slate roof and rendered N end stack. Basement and two storeys, two-window range of 16-pane sashes with arch-headed 3-panel door and plain fanlight to left. Stucco surrounds to openings. Three slate steps to door. Iron railings (matching those on adjoining houses) to basement area and slate steps down.
