Not built up on 1848 Meyrick estate map; street was named after EdwardáLaws who died 1854.
Circa 1850-60 terraced house, dry-dash cladding replacing stucco, slate roof and stone N end stack. Basement and two-storey two-window range of 4-pane sashes with thin first-floor sill band. Arch-headed door to left with C20 door and plain fanlight in fine open pedimented timber doorcase with triglyphs to entablature. Three steps up. Fancy wrought and cast iron area railings to basement area, slate steps down to ledged basement door and 12-pane sash.
Though separated (by altered house at No 73) from listed group towards N end of the street, this house is included primarily for good doorcase and ironwork railings.
