Earlier C19 terraced house, building marked on site on 1844 tithe map.
Semi-detached house, pebbledash cladding with imitation slate roof and rendered end stacks. Two-storey double-fronted elevation with 2 C20 aluminium windows each floor, that to ground floor left of double width. Centre C20 half-glazed door with shallow overlight. Facade offset slightly to right. All openings have painted stucco surround with moulded keystones. Outshut rear.
In 1978 the house had modern wood casement windows of 2 lights except one of 3 lights.
Included despite altered windows and door for important corner position and for group value with No 23 Main Street and No 2 Hill Terrace.
