Large, rectangular, lean-to; two chambered; rubble and pantile, crowstepped flanks. Inset stone dated 1737. Stepped string-course. Roof partly gone. 959 nest-holes in each chamber. East end partly gone.
Montrave House was built in 1836 for Major Alexander Anderson (NSA) practically re-built in 1893, demolished in 1970. Previously Item 8 in Kirkcaldy District Transferred, 1988 due to boundary changes.
