Description

J Smith, 1846. 2-storey, 5-bay, rectangular, gabled, classical bank. Columnar porch to centre. Yellow ashlar sandstone. Base course, dividing band between 1st and 2nd floor, dentil-moulded projecting cornice. Cavetto moulded architraves to windows.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: regular fenestration. Stone steps to timber panelled door with letterbox fanlight. Engaged Doric columns flanking entrance, supporting entablature with projecting cornice.

W (REAR) ELEVATION: modern, 2-storey, 3-bay addition to rear.

N (SIDE) ELEVATION: obscured by close neighbouring building.

S (SIDE) ELEVATION: obscured by close neighbouring building.

Plate glass sash and case windows to upper floor, fixed pane plate glass to ground. Grey slates, lead flashing. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
