Earlier 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house forming part of terrace. Painted render. Base course; eaves course; cornice; blocking course; strip quoin to right only. Painted margins to openings.
S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central entrance at ground; recessed glazed timber door; letterbox fanlight; flanking single windows at ground; regular fenestration at 1st and attic floors.
Plate glass timber sash and case windows at ground and 1st floors, 4-pane at attic. Grey slate roof; stone skews; coped stacks; circular and polygonal cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
Nos 1-29 (Inclusive Nos, no No 13 and 30, 32 and 54 Fullarton Street) form B Group. The N side of Barns Street formed Ayr's first regular terrace development (Dodd, p358).
