Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house forming part of terrace. Painted render. Cill course linking 1st floor windows; eaves course; cornice; blocking course; strip quoin to right only. Painted margins to openings.
S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: small step to central cavetto splayed doorpiece; timber door; 3-light letterbox fanlight; single window aligned above at 1st floor; flanking single windows at ground and 1st floor.
Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; stone skews; coped stacks; circular cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
Nos 1-29 (Inclusive Nos, no No 13 and 32 and 54 Fullarton Street) form B Group. The N side of Barns Street formed Ayr's first regular terrace development (Dodd, p358).
