Description

1809. 3-storey with basement and attic, 7-bay terraced classical tenement. Sandstone ashlar with rustication at ground. Base course, band course between ground and 1st floors, cill band at 1st floor, cill band to 2 smaller windows in bays to left of centre at 2nd floor breaking remaining bays to left and right, corniced eaves and blocking course, ashlar steps and entrance platts oversailing basement.

N (BROUGHTON STREET) ELEVATION: 3 timber panelled doors with fanlights (centre fanlight blocked) to centre bays, windows to remaining bays, regular fenestration above, 4 piended tripartite dormers and rooflight.

Timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing, grey slates, ridge stack, decorative cast-iron railings.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
