Description

1819-1820. 4-storey, 5-bay tenement forming end of terrace. Sandstone ashlar, coarsed rubble to side elevation. Band course between ground and 1st floors, mutuled cornice between 2nd and 3rd floors, projecting cills at 1st and 2nd, cornice and blocking course.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 7-bay at ground, timber panelled doors with fanlights in pilastered and corniced doorpieces to bays 2,4 and 6, windows to remaining bays. Regular fenestration above.

S (SIDE) ELEVATION: windows to centre at each floor.

Timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing, grey slates, gablehead and ridge stacks with terracotta cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND RAILINGS: low boundary walls with ridged ashlar cope; decorative cast-iron railings.
