Description

Earlier 19th century, incorporating earlier fabric. 3-storey, 3-bay tenement with shops at ground. Rendered, eaves band, cornice and blocking course.

HIGH STREET ELEVATION: modern shop fronts at ground. Panelled aprons to corniced 1st floor windows, regular fenestration at 2nd floor.

REAR ELEVATION: 3 narrow bays with full-height bowed stair tower at centre, tall stair window, half-conical roof; windows flanking to left, later addition in re-entrant angle to right. Piend-roofed, slate-hung tripartite dormer to right.

Plate glass sash and case and modern windows, modern to 2nd floor. Grey slates. Mutual gable stacks.

Statement of Interest

Contemporary with adjoining, finer property, Nos 77-83 High Street.
