Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 2-bay, rectangular plan house. Painted coursed tooled sandstone, ashlar margins, quoin strips.

NW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: doorway off-set to outer right, small window to left of door, window at 1st floor above, bay to left with windows in line at ground and 1st floor.

NE ELEVATION: attached to No 48.

SW ELEVATION: gable end.

Varied timber sash and case windows, grey/brown slate, stone skews, ashlar gablehead stack to N.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.

Statement of Interest

Terminating prominent harbour side terrace. Part of the Harbour Street B Group, Nos 40-58.
