Earlier-mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan, asymmetrical house with crowstepped gable to W, adjoining 3-storey, 3-bay house to E (see notes), built on ground rising to W. Re-pointed coursed rubble. Coal shed sited across close to S; garden sited on terraced ground to W.
S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: part-glazed boarded door at ground in bay to centre; non-aligned small window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bay to right. Window at ground in bay to left; non-aligned window at 1st floor above.
W (SIDE) ELEVATION: blank crowstepped gabled wall with gablehead stack.
4-pane timber sash and case windows. Caithness slate roof; stone ridge; small, evenly disposed rooflights; harled, coped stacks to E and W; cast-iron downpipes with uPVC gutters.
INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.
OUTBUILDING AND WALLED GARDEN: rubble lean-to coal shed to S accessed via boarded door in boundary wall; roughly coursed rubble wall with rubble cope enclosing garden to W at rear.
