Stirling Castle Palace (1539-42)

A Category A Listed Building in Stirling, Stirling

The room with the heads on the ceiling

Uploader's Comments

The refurbishment of the palace rooms is a brilliant interpretation of the history of the building conveying so much more than the "anti-scrape" policies applied to some similar monuments. Those original heads that survive are suitably preserved in a separate display.
