Quadrangle; 2/3-storey and cellarage with state rooms at 1st
floor. Mainly ashlar-built, elevation treatment, cusped
segment-headed niches (with much sculpture) and windows
between: corbelled and embattled parapet. Original fireplaces
within, inner court known as 'Lions Den'. W quarter partly
demolished late 17th century, other alterations 18th century.
