Description

Mid 19th century, single storey and attic 3 bay house with
single storey 3 bay wing to east. Mainly polished ashlar
frontage; harled gables and wings, polished ashlar dressings;
recessed south elevation. Centre door with narrow side
lights; outer canted bays linked by eaves band supported by
pair Roman Doric columns forming porch. Squat gabled 3-light
dormer with broad wooden pediment. Shallow piended slate roof
with pair symmetrically placed chimneys linked with arcade.
Wing: ashlar margins and eaves band; lying pane glazing;
also shallow piended slate roof.
Low coped wall to Wellington Street frontage with balustraded
parapet; square ashlar gate piers with moulded shallow
pyramidal caps.
High rubble wall encircles remainder of property linked to
front wall with large scroll console brackets.
