Circa 1922. A Marshall Mackenzie and Son. Fluted Ionic column
on curved hexagonal plinth. Laurel wreath on column below
capital. Low coped wall enclosing corner site with square
ashlar end piers, corniced with acorn finials.
Design exhibited Royal Scottish Academy 1922. Square ashlar
end piers are re-used gate piers from Millbank House of circa
1800. Memorial site was previously part of Millbank House
garden.
