Description

William Burn and David Bryce, 1842-3. Large rectangular-plan,
nave and aisles Gothic church free-standing in park above W
river bank. Stugged ashlar with polished dressings, string at
cill level, low roof parapets; hood-moulded lancets to
firmly-buttressed bays, gabled porch towards S end of each
flank; large 3-light stepped gable windows, S gable with
pointed-arched wide doorway with nook-shafts and apex belfry.
Slate roofs.
