Description

Dated 1876, 4-storey 9-bay with simple Renaissance detail
factory and wholesale warehouse. Ashlar front, brick sides.
Ground floor altered except masked brackets over paired
pilasters at each end. 1st floor corniced windows grouped in
3's each group with a central segmental pediment. 2nd floor
windows grouped in 3s, each with Keystones and inner windows
corniced. 3rd floor windows in architraves. All windows are
2-paned sash and case. Mutule cornice. Central wallhead
panel: "B, 1876 India Buildings", flanked by panelled and
dentil corniced stacks, one with a terracotta chimney can.
Interior cast-iron columns and timber beams.
