H E Clifford, 1910/11 (dated 1911). Large 2-storey villa. English Tudor, stone-cleaned snecked ashlar, broad eaves, steep-pitched red-tiled gabled roofs, stack copes also tiled; some windows mullioned and transomed, variety of glazing patterns, mostly sashes; to E, pair outer gables linked by open proch; to S, pair projecting window bays, one reaching above main eaves level; CONSERVATORY extends from W wall and is an octagon with narrow link to house; low service range at N has piended and bell-cast roof. On corner site, boundary wall to each street front stepped at slope; 2 gateways (each with gatepiers), one at street corner.
