Description

Style of Robert Thomson. Later 19th century; shows
influence of Alexander Thomson. 2-storey villa, wide
2-bay gable to street with canted ground floor windows,
round-headed bipartites at 1st floor with arched
moulding over, fret-work at gable head; recessed wing to
left with gable facing N, pedimented entrance facing
street has pilasters narrowed below capitals; stugged
coursers, plate glass sashes, tall stacks, shallow-
pitched and broad-eaved slate roofs.
Low boundary wall to street, square gatepiers with Greek
key detail.
