Description

1883, extensively repaired to original design. Glass, cedar wood and cast-iron construction with ashlar base courses, rebuilt at rear with brick base courses. Long symmetrical elevation with taller end and central pavilions.

Interior with cast-iron columns, some supporting cast-iron spiral staircases.

Cedarwood now substantially replaced by bronzed aluminium (1993).
