Description

Circa 1815. 2-storey and attic 3-bay symmetrical town house. Cream sandstone, stugged ashlar to front, coursed and squared rubble to sides, rubble to rear. Base course; rusticated ground floor; band course above ground floor; cill band course at 1st floor; eaves cornice with blocking course; architraved windows at 1st floor.

NE (FRONT) ELEVATION: round-arched tripartite doorway at centre (sidelights blocked) with ornately patterned rectangular fanlight; single window at 1st floor above. Single windows to outer bays. 2 velux rooflights.

SW (REAR) ELEVATION: bowed bay with single windows to right, iron railings as parapet; bowed bipartite dormer above. Single windows to left.

NW ELEVATION: gabled with apex stack; small window to gablehead.

SE ELEVATION: as above.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof; 2 apex stacks (see above), some octagonal cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1992.
