Mid 18th century. 2-storey and basement 5-bay house with later (circa 1820) single storey pavilions. Brick built, now harled.
SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical main block. Architraved doorpiece at centre with 2-leaf panelled door and cast-iron railed forestair. Regular fenestration; blind window to outer left bay at basement level; blank wall to left pavilion.
NW ELEVATION: nearly symmetrical. Exposed basement. Single storey, flat-roofed extension to bays 2 and 3 of main block; window to outer right bay. Door and window to basement of right wing. Shallow segmental-arched lintel to central ground floor window. Small square skylight over centre bay.
SW ELEVATION: single central window.
NE ELEVATION: not seen (1995).
12-pane timber sash and case windows to all openings. Brown concrete pantile pitched roof to main block; half-piended to wing. Harled and coped wallhead stacks and skews.
INTERIOR: not seen (1995).
BOUNDARY WALL: brick dwarf wall with ashlar coping.
RAILINGS: cast-iron arrowhead railings to street.
