Description

Dated 1882. Free renaissance. 3 storeys, with 2 bays to
High Street and to Friars Vennel, these elevations similarly
detailed, central wall-head stack to latter elevation; good
glazed shop front at ground, cornice above ground raised
at curved corner. Red ashlar, with narrow pilaster strips,
horizontal strings dividing floors, segmental-arched 1st
floor windows, round-arched 2nd floor windows with scrolled
and pedimented heads above main eaves level; casement
windows each with timber mullion and transome. Low parapet;
corniced stacks; concealed roof.
