McArthur's Store or Scott's Girnell was first recorded in 1658 and the lower level of the S.end dates from this time. This was discovered after Archaeological work in 2007. It was remodelled about 1738, doubled in width and increased to 3 stories. The original roof was replaced in the 19th century and many other changes have taken place. The building has been restored as a fishermen's store, office and meeting room.
