Statement of Interest

Former Free Church of Scotland school. The original 1845 building is an unusual survival, the design probably after J C Loudon, ENCYCLOPAEDIA OF VILLA, COTTAGE AND FARM ARCHITECTURE, a handbook of architectural drawings and plans first published in 1833 with many subsequent editions.
