Early 19th century. 3-storey, 2-bay tenement forming part of short terrace, with commercial premises at ground floor. Painted ashlar to entrance elevation. Mutuled cornice to shopfront; eaves course; cornice; blocking course. Architraves and cill blocks to upper floor windows; cornices at 1st floor.
SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: entrance to outer right; 2-leaf timber glazed door; letterbox fanlight; shop window to left. Regular fenestration to upper floors.
Shop window at ground; 12-pane timber sash and case windows at upper floors. Grey slate roof; stone skews; coped gablehead stacks (abbreviated to right); circular cans.
INTERIOR: ovolo frieze to dentilled ceiling cornice; decorative ceiling roundels.
Good example of early 19th century urban architecture, distinctive for its narrow 2-bay format in the predominantly wider bay format of other Sandgate architecture.
