Early 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 4-bay (bay to outer left on quadrant corner). Painted ashlar. Pilasters divide bays to shopfronts at ground floor; mutual shopfront fascia; eaves course; cornice; blocking course. Architraved margins to window openings; decorative cill pendants; additional cornices to 1st floor windows.
SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: off-centre timber door; decorative letterbox fanlight; central entrances to flanking shopfronts; 2-leaf timber doors; letterbox fanlights (infilled to left). Regular fenestration at upper floors. 2 segmental-headed dormers to outer right and left at attic.
SW (SIDE) ELEVATION: single shop window to right at ground; regular fenestration at all floors to quadrant corner to outer right (see above).
W (BOAT VENNAL) ELEVATION: 3-bay. Regular fenestration to outer bays (blind at ground and 1st floor window to outer right); infilled opening at ground, 2 single windows above to central bay (stair bay). Single dormer at attic to outer left.
Shop windows at ground floor; 12-pane timber sash and case windows at upper floors. Grey slate roof; stone skews; coped stack to outer left; circular cans.
INTERIORS: not seen 1998.
