Charles Landale and Matthias Dunn, engineers, 1831. Single-span, keystoned round-arch former railway bridge over Dichty Water. Rubble construction; irregular ashlar voussoirs, stugged and margined, numbered 1-16 from impost to keystone on both sides. Parapet largely removed, some large coping stones remain on site; curved approaches.
The bridge ceased to be used by railway traffic when the Rose Mill to Auchterhouse deviation was built in 1860. See also NOTES to Road Bridge over former Newtyle Railway, Eastfield, Auchterhouse Parish.
