Gates: probably 17th century, fine two-leaf wrought iron gates and overthrow to drive arch, and possibly later gates to gateways.
Original towers possibly designed by John Paterson. Gates to the South Lodge (listed separately, LB18917) are of 17th century origin and bear similarities suggesting that they too are early works, probably accompanying an earlier lodge.
The linking passage appears similar in style and stone that it may be contemporary with the towers, and restored by Gilbert Ogilvy in the early 20th century. Ogilvy also designed Winton Laundry, listed separately (LB18949).
Statutory address and listed building record revised in 2019. Previously listed as 'Winton House North Lodge With Gates'.
