Description

Indistinct datestone. 17()9 (but probably 1st half of
century). Rectangular-plan burial aisle with full-height,
full-width addition to E 1824 (datestone). All rubble-built
with ashlar dressings.
ORIGINAL AISLE: entrance with chamfered margins (no door or
gate survives) central on S wall, inscribed rectangular panel
above with continuous cornice and coping raised over. W wall
has 17th century inscribed slab set in outer face, ornamented
mid 18th century monument set in inner face. Unroofed.
ADDITION: doorway also at S - timber door and SE angle both
margined; eaves course; original cornice continued over.
Concealed stone-slab roof, barrel-vaulted interior.
