Description

Circa 1840. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse with 2-storey rear
wing (?earlier farmhouse). Stugged ashlar coursers, painted
margins and porch.
N ELEVATION: modern central door with decorative fanlight
behind Roman Doric-columned porch with simple triglyph
frieze; margined windows with plate-glass sashes; end stacks
on ramped bases. Piended roof with graded slates. 2-bay
flanks. W elevation of rear wing is rubble-built with 2
ground floor windows, single small 1st floor window with
9-pane glazing: modern garage adjoins S gable. Low, single
storey, range at SE has N-facing window.
